News Updates for December 28, 2023-January 03, 2024

The Library will be closed Monday, January 1st for New Year’s Day.

Need a cozy indoor activity for the cold weather? The Library has jigsaw puzzles! Until January 12, find our Puzzle Swap Cart beside the front entrance. Bring in puzzles from home that you already completed and swap them out for new challenges. Or simply borrow a puzzle from the cart and bring it back when you’re done. No library card required, and no due dates. After January 12, we will still have puzzles available; you only need to ask at the front desk.

We’re pleased to announce the launch of our new library catalog, Aspen Discovery. Our new user-friendly catalog features a powerful search engine that makes it easier than ever to discover physical and digital materials all in one place.

It offers features such as curated and shared reading lists, personalized recommendations and read-alikes, keeping track of your borrowing history, and more. If you are having trouble navigating our new catalog, call (217) 485-5558 or stop by the Library.
