Specialized Services

Notary Services

The Library offers notary public services at no charge. This service is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Please call the Library at (217) 485-5558 to set up an appointment. You do not need to be a Tolono Library patron to use this service.

Any person wishing to have documents notarized must bring a valid photo ID. All persons signing the document(s) must be present. Please do not sign your document(s) until you are in the presence of the Notary Public. We are required to see you sign your documents.

The Library cannot notarize government I-9 forms, nor can we provide an Apostille.

Need a Good Read?

Look no further than the Tolono Public Library District’s SelectReads newsletters service. With SelectReads, you can customize your own set of eNewsletters to be conveniently delivered to your email (typically once a month). These eNewsletters offer our readers advisory service on books, authors, and more!

Test Proctoring

The Tolono Public Library District provides free proctoring services for written and online exams. Proctoring services are available by appointment during regular business hours.

Contact the Library Director at jcler@tolonolibrary.org or call the Library at (217) 485-5558 to make an appointment.

WorldCat Requests

If you cannot find an item you are looking for in the SHARE system, the Library will try to find and request the item through WorldCat. Please contact Candace Hood at chood@tolonolibrary.org or by calling the Library at (217) 485-5558 if you would like to make a request.
