Notice to TPL Patrons:

Tolono items returned to the Champaign or Urbana libraries cannot be checked in and off your record until they reach Tolono Library; They use a separate automation system. This may result in accrued fines on your account. Please drop your Tolono materials either at the Tolono Public Library or one of our drop box locations.

Library Card Information

Tolono Public Library serves the communities of Sadorus, Savoy, and Tolono and rural residents living between County Road 600N and 1200E or between County Road 600E and County Road 1200N (for a detailed map of this area please visit the Tolono Library). Residents who live outside this area, but whose tax dollars support Unit 7 School District, are eligible to purchase a “Non-Resident” Tolono Library card for $80.00. This yearly fee allows full access to the Tolono Library and all the great things it has to offer. For all potential cardholders, sign-up must be completed in person at the Tolono Public Library. A valid driver’s license or other valid photo I.D. plus a processed piece of mail showing name and current address must be provided. Children five and older may get a library card if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Items may only be checked out to patrons who produce their own library card in order for staff to access the account. When calling to inquire about an account, please have the barcode information available. Please call the library if you need assistance at 485-5558.
