TOLONO PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT NEWS FOR MARCH 02-08, 2023 

PROGRAMS & EVENTS THIS WEEK 

Teen Crafternoon: Yarn-Wrapped Letters / Thursday, March 2nd, 4:30—5:30 p.m. Make your favorite letter of the alphabet pop with colorful yarn and other decor. All materials will be provided. Recommended Ages: 12-18 

Play Hour with Friends / Monday, March 6th, 9:00—10:00 a.m. Bring your children for a playdate at the Library while you enjoy conversation and coffee with other parents and caregivers in the community. Recommended Ages: 0-5.  

Children’s Storytime / Tuesday, March 7th, 10:00—10:45 a.m. Come to the Library for a fun story time filled with stories, songs, and silly rhymes! Recommended Ages: 0-5.  

Switch Crew / Wednesday, March 8th, 3:30—5:00 p.m. Unwind after school and play popular Nintendo Switch games with friends! While you wait your turn to play, we’ll have other activities for you. Recommended Ages: 6-18.

The Tolono Public Library District and Unit 7 School District are teaming up to provide library services to all students in Unit 7. Any student residing in an unincorporated area of the Unit 7 School District is eligible. Please note, the library card is not intended for the household, only the child. For any questions, please contact Library Director Janet Cler at 217-485-5558 and inquire about the Cards for Kids Expansion program.

Family Trivia Night: Disney Edition / Friday, February 3rd, 5:00—6:15 p.m. Use the knowledge that all those Disney movies have given you to win the Disney Trivia Trophy and other fun prizes! Disney clothes and gear encouraged. Limited space. Limit four (4) members per team with eight (8) teams max. Registration required. All ages welcome!
