The Page Turners Book Club will meet again for December! Join other readers at the Tolono Library to chat about a novel over light refreshments. No registration necessary. On December 2nd we will be discussing “Remarkably Bright Creatures” by Shelby Van Pelt. Call or stop by the Library to reserve your copy today. Recommended Ages: 18+.

Kids Craft Time: Scrapbooking & Zine Making / Thursday, November 9th, 3:30—5:30 p.m. Zines—scrapbooked pamphlets circulated among friends—have been used for almost a century to tell stories and build community. Stop by the Library to put together your own! Recommended Ages: 6-11.

Teen Lounge / Thursday, November 9th, 6:00—7:00 p.m. Come and let us know what you’d like to see happen at the Library! Is there a craft you’d like? A game night you want to attend? Chat with us over pizza and video games about what you think the Library should have! Recommended Ages: 12-18.

Children’s Storytime / Tuesday, November 14th, 10:00—10:30 a.m. Come to the Library for a fun storytime filled with stories, songs, and silly rhymes. Recommended Ages: 0-5.

Play Group with Friends / Tuesday, November 14th, 10:30—11:00 a.m. Bring your children for a playdate at the Library while you enjoy conversation with other parents and caregivers in the community. Recommended Ages: 0-5.

Coffee Talk / Wednesday, November 15th, 9:00—10:00 a.m. Twice a month, seniors are welcome to visit for coffee and light refreshments in the company of other seniors in the community! Recommended Ages: Senior.

STEAMers: Music Makers / Wednesday, November 15th, 10:30—11:00 a.m. Put on your thinking cap at the Library for an activity that’s full of science, learning, and fun! This week, we’re making and decorating our own instruments. Recommended Ages: 0-5.

LEGO® Club / Wednesday, November 15th, 3:30—5:00 p.m. Come build a creative LEGO® design at the Library! All materials will be provided, you just bring the imagination. Recommended Ages: 6-11.

Upcoming Programs

STEM Explorers: Volcano / Thursday, November 16th, 4:00—5:30 p.m. Stop by the Library to build a volcano, and then watch it erupt! We’ll learn why baking soda and vinegar are such an explosive combination, and about how real volcanoes form. Recommended Ages: 6-11.

Adult Craft N’ Chat: Hand-Dipped Candles / Friday, November 17th, 5:30—7:00 p.m. Come to the Library to create hand-dipped candles that can give a whimsical look to any space and are equally lovely as soft lighting or mantle decor.
