Children’s Storytime / Thursday, March 28th, 10:00—10:30 a.m. Come to the Library for a fun storytime filled with stories, songs, and silly rhymes. The therapy dogs, Sterling and Silver, will be special visitors. Recommended Ages: 0-5.
Adult Craft N’ Chat: Ukrainian Pysanky Decorated Eggs / Friday, March 29th, 5:00—7:00 p.m. Join guest presenter Danielle Sekel from UIUC’s Russian, Eastern European, and East Asian Center and decorate a traditional Ukrainian egg using paint, wax, and heat. All supplies provided. Limited Space. Please register by calling the Library. Recommended Ages: 19+. THIS EVENT IS FULL; new registrations can join the waitlist.
Solar Eclipse Take-Home Kit / Monday, April 1st Pick up a set of viewing glasses to safely watch the solar eclipse on April 8th! Kids can receive an eclipse kit, which includes two sets of viewing glasses, educational info about eclipses, coloring sheets, and a craft! All ages welcome.
Coffee Talk / Wednesday, April 3rd, 9:00—10:00 a.m. Twice a month, seniors are welcome to visit for coffee and light refreshments in the company of other seniors in the community! This week, Kirk Reynolds with the Monticello Railway Museum will be giving an interactive presentation on the History of Railroads in Tolono. Recommended Ages: Senior.
LEGO® Club / Wednesday, April 3rd, 3:30—5:30 p.m. Come build a creative LEGO® design at the Library! All materials will be provided, you just bring the imagination. Recommended Ages: 6-11.
