Summer Reading Program / June 1st-August 3rd Read, Renew, Repeat: A Summer Reading Program for all ages. Join us this summer as we embark on a journey to explore the wonders of the natural world through reading and activities that will inspire all readers to develop a love for reading and the planet. Get signed up any time before August 3rd and start earning prizes and raffle entries as we read, renew, and repeat all summer long.

Children’s Storytime / Thursday, June 13th, 10:00—10:30 a.m. Come to the Library for a fun storytime filled with stories, songs, and silly rhymes. Recommended Ages: 0-5.

Adult Craft N’ Chat: Mason Jar Birdfeeder / Friday, June 14th, 5:30—6:30 p.m. Join us at the Library to make a Mason Jar Birdfeeder, perfect for your garden this summer! Giving the birds something to munch on in your yard will make birdwatching even easier. Limited space. Please register online or by calling the Library. Recommended Ages: 19+.

Remarkable Reptiles with the CCFPD / Monday, June 17th, 10:30—11:30 a.m. Come to the Library to meet some local Illinois reptiles! This program will consist of a brief lesson on reptiles, along with interesting facts about what species of reptiles can be found in Champaign County. We’ll even get a chance to meet some of these animals up close! Recommended Ages: 3+.

Coffee Talk / Wednesday, June 19th, 9:00—10:00 a.m. Twice a month, seniors are welcome to visit for coffee and light refreshments in the company of other seniors in the community! Recommended Ages: Senior.

LEGO® Club / Wednesday, June 19th, 1:00—3:00 p.m. Come build a creative LEGO® design at the Library! All materials will be provided, you just bring the imagination. Recommended Ages: 6-11.

Kids Craft Time: Tiny Art Workshop / Thursday, June 20th, 3:00—5:00 p.m. Stop by the Library to paint some tiny canvases! Once you’ve finished, you can either take them home or leave them in the Library on display. Recommended Ages: 6-11.

Craft Supply Swap / Sunday, June 23rd, 1:00—3:00 p.m. Clear out your cubbies, closets, and cabinets and trade for craft supplies you’ll use! Starting Monday, June 17th, bring your gently used or like new craft supplies to the Library for a Craft Supply Swap. Anyone who donated items can enter the swap at 12:45 p.m. by showing the ticket they received when dropping off donations. Those who donate will receive one ticket per person. Supplies will be available on a first come, first served basis.
