The Summer Reading Program is in full-swing! Don’t forget to come to the Library and sign up. You’ll receive a gift just for enrolling, and all participants have a chance to win the grand prize in their age group. The Summer Reading Program ends on Saturday, August 5th.

Presenting Staff Picks! Our Library staff is excited to share our recommended reads with you. The main display now features books for all ages to get you started with your summer reading goals. Everything in the display can be checked out with your library card. Find familiar stories or explore a different genre. Take as many books as you want, and let us know what you thought!

Programs and Events This Week

Kids Craft Time: Paper Plate Fish / Thursday, June 8th, 3:30—5:30 p.m. It’s World Oceans Day! To celebrate, stop by the Library to make an awesome paper plate fish. And it’s not just any old fish, it’s a rainbow fish! Can’t do the craft in person? Take a kit home with you! Recommended Ages: 6-11.

Letterboxing for Kids / Sunday, June 11th, 1:00—2:00 p.m. Come to the Library for this special presentation on Letterboxing for Kids! This fun activity is a scavenger hunt for unique stamp art that will take you just about anywhere—great for individuals and families alike! You will learn what Letterboxing is and have a chance to use clues to find letterboxes around the Library! Recommended Ages: 6-11.

Outdoor Storytime / Tuesday, June 13th, 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. Come to the Library for a fun story time filled with stories, songs, and silly rhymes! Bring a blanket or lawn chair for story time on the grass. Recommended Ages: 0-5.

Switch Crew / Wednesday, June 14th, 3:30—5:00 p.m. Switch Crew has returned! Unwind and play popular Nintendo Switch games with friends! While you wait your turn to play, we’ll have more fun activities for you. Recommended Ages: 6-18.
