Children’s Storytime / Thursday, February 8th, 10:00—10:30 a.m. Come to the Library for a fun storytime filled with stories, songs, and silly rhymes. Recommended Ages: 0-5.
Play Group with Friends / Thursday, February 8th, 10:30—11:00 a.m. Bring your children for a playdate at the Library while you enjoy conversation with other parents and caregivers in the community. Recommended Ages: 0-5.
Adult Craft N’ Chat: Homemade Valentines / Friday, February 9th, 5:30—6:30 p.m. Design a thoughtful homemade valentine using materials like ribbon, lace, and cardstock together at the Library. Limited Space. Please register by calling the Library. Recommended Ages: 19+.
The IDEA Zone / Saturday, February 10th, 1:00—3:00 p.m. Come to the Library and bring your designs to life in the IDEA Zone! We have a variety of materials, supplies, and equipment for you to use or bring your own! A signed user agreement must be completed by the time of the event. A copy of this agreement can be found on our website [HERE] or by visiting the Library. Recommended Ages: 8+. Parental supervision required.
Free Medical Screenings with IMSS / Sunday, February 11th, 12:30—2:30 p.m. The Illini Medical Screening Society will be at the Library to conduct free screenings that determine risk for obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. Drop by to have your free screening.
Storytime and Craft Celebrating Black History Month / Monday, February 12th, 10:00—11:00 a.m. Come to the Library for a storytime and craft celebrating Black culture, accomplishments, and joy. Recommended Ages: 0-5.
STEAMers: Fizzing Rainbows / Wednesday, February 14th, 10:30—11:00 a.m. Put on your thinking cap at the Library for an activity that’s full of science, learning, and fun! This week, we’re creating food coloring rainbows that bubble and fizz. Recommended Ages: 0-5.

Lunar New Year Celebration / Friday, February 16th, 4:30—6:30 p.m. Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Library by making crafts, trying STEAM activities, and learning about New Year traditions around the world. All Ages Welcome!
Family Trivia Challenge: Disney Edition / Saturday, February 17th, 1:00—3:00 p.m. Use the knowledge that all those Disney movies have given you to win the Trivia Trophy and other fun prizes! Limited space. Please register online or by calling the library. Limit four members per team with eight teams max. All ages welcome!
