News Updates for September 17-23, 2026

There’s lots to do at the Tolono Library this week. On Friday, we have our usual baby/toddler Story time and Sensory play at 10:00, and then later that day kids ages 6-11 can join clerk, Josi in making a unique craft from 3:30-4:30.  On Saturday, September 19, clerk Megan is leading a youth art class for kids of all ages! She will be showing them how to draw using negative space from 1:00-3:00PM. On Monday, September 21, Hilary will be offering two writing workshops, one for teens from 3:30-4:30 and one for adults from 4:30-5:30.  The workshop is a space to explore your creative writing and work in a space with like-minded individuals. On Tuesday, September 22 we will continue our TuesDIY craft time from 12:30-2:00. Come use our supplies for crafting either to create something new or work on an on-going project.   That evening from 3:00-6:00PM the Friends of the Tolono Library is hosting a Miniature Painting event fundraiser.  For $1.00 you can come paint your own masterpiece on a miniature canvas OR there will also be miniature Dungeons and Dragons characters available to paint! On Wednesday, September 23, Eddie Edwards returns for Senior Fitness from 9:00-10:00.   For more details, a complete list of our programs, and to register for upcoming events, be sure to visit our website at tolonolibrary.org.
