The Teen “Booked for Fall” BINGO reading challenge kicked off earlier this week. The Bingo card can be found in our Beanstack app, and it runs through November 30th. All teens who achieve a bingo will receive one entry into our grand prize raffle drawing for a Movie Basket which includes a mini wireless projector, a mini fridge, and snacks. For every bingo received after the first one, they will receive another entry into the drawing. Anyone who fills their bingo card will receive a Casey’s gift card and the ten entries into the drawing. Encourage your teens to sign up! The link to beanstack can be found on our website.
Remember, it’s National Library Card Sign Up Month, so if you don’t have your Tolono Public Library Card be sure to stop in during the month of September to sign up for one. You’ll get a coupon for a free game of bowling for mini golf from Old Orchard Lanes and Links, plus you’ll be able to take advantage of the deals being offered in our Show and Save program by area businesses. When you come to the library to either sign up for or renew your library card, you will need your driver’s license (or other form of photo ID with your current address) as well as an additional document with your current address to confirm (this can be a piece of mail or digital or physical bill or other legal statement).
Speaking of library cards, don’t forget that we have begun enforcing our existing policy on presenting your library card in order to check out materials from the library. To provide a consistent service to all our patrons, we will be requiring, per our Circulation Policy, that patrons present either their physical/digital library card, library card number, or photo ID to check out materials.
Don’t forget to stop in the library this week for storytime, TuesDIY, Senior Fitness, or Teen Make Lab. We have a lot of fun programs coming up at the library, so check out our website for all the details. Want to be the first to know about upcoming programs? Sign up for our Programs + Newsletter; you can find the link on our website.
