It is the policy of the Tolono Public Library District to comply with the state mandate on Public Library Non-Resident Services as per the rules of the Illinois Administrative Code; Title 23; Subtitle B: Cultural Resources; Chapter 1: Secretary of State Part 3050; Public Library Non-Resident Services.
The Tolono Public Library District will provide Non-Resident cards for $90.00 per year per household. This was derived by calculating the average local property tax per household.
All library cards granted by the Tolono Public Library District such as Resident and Non-Resident cards, may be used in the Illinois Heartland Library System. Non-Resident cards are valid for one year.
