The Academy Awards are coming up this weekend! Are you a film buff? How many Oscar Nominated Films have you seen over the years? Come test your knowledge of award-winning films from over the years at our Oscar’s Trivia Night on Thursday, March 12 from 5:30-7:00. Dress for the Red Carpet and your team will automatically receive some bonus points at the start. Also happening this week is Kids’ Storytime on Friday, March 13 from 10:00-10:30AM and our monthly Euchre Tournament which will take place on Saturday, March 14 from 1:00-3:00PM. Please note that while Early Voting is taking place, all library programs will take place in the main library area. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate being a polling place and continuing to offer our services to our patrons.
On Tuesday, March 17, we will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a Build-a-Leprechaun Craft for kids from 4:00-5:00PM. This Tuesday is also election day, and voting will be available from 6:00AM-7:00PM. (Though normal library operations won’t begin until our normal opening time of 8:00AM). Wednesday, March 18th will have our normal line up of Coffee Talk from 9:00-10:00AM and Teen Fab Lab from 3:30-5:00PM.
The Friends of the Tolono Library are continuing their Brick Sale throughout the month of March. Buy a brick and have your name be a part of our Community Garden for years to come! Bricks are $5.00 and can be purchased by cash or check at the library.
