The Young Adult area, located on the east side of the library, is an engaging collection of books especially for older teens and young adults.
The library will post new additions frequently on the website, but you can also keep up to date by following us on Facebook or Instagram. Periodically, we attempt to have a teen event, or activity, which we will also post on our website and social media accounts.
Materials
The Young Adult area of the library has fiction books along with graphic novels and magazines. Young Adult books are tagged with a “YA” sticker on the spine. Have an e-reader? Check out our virtual resource page for information about the library’s free eBooks lending service!
Library Cards
Until the age of 18, parents must apply for a card on behalf of their children. Parents must reside in the Tolono Public Library District. When applying for a minor’s library card, the parent must provide a driver’s license or photo ID as well as proof of address.
Volunteer Opportunities
Need volunteer or community service learning hours for school? Or just want to get out of the house? Volunteer at the Tolono Public Library! Duties vary, but might include shelving books, helping with programs, and more! If you are interested, stop by the library and inquire at the circulation desk or contact Amy Wildman at (217) 485-5558 or awildman@tolonolibrary.org.
