Many materials may be renewed over the phone, as long as there is no waiting list for that particular item. To renew materials, call the library at 485-5558 and have your library card number ready, or go to Online Catalog. The library offers a diverse collection, including reference material, fiction, non-fiction, periodicals, videos, CDs, and audiobooks. Patrons may view their library record as well as place requests online. Go to our Online Catalog to get started!
WorldCat: If you cannot find an item you are looking for in the SHARE system, the library can try and request the item through WorldCat. You will need to contact Helen at email@example.com or by phone at 485-5558 on Monday from 10:00-2:00 or Thursday 8:00-12:00.
Copies & Fax
A copy machine is available for public use. Copying costs are $0.15 for black and white. A fax machine is available for you to send and receive faxes at 217-485-3088. Fax charges are $1.00 per page to send and $0.50 per page to receive. The library staff will be happy to assist you.
The service of Notary Public is available Monday thru Friday. Please call the library at 485-5558 to set up a specific time. Please bring valid photo ID, and remember that documents to be notarized must be signed in front of the Notary (do not sign them beforehand). All people signing the document(s) must be present. You do not need to be a Tolono Public Library patron.

Look no further than the Tolono Public Library’s BookLetters service. Customize your own set of newsletters to be conveniently delivered to your email (typically once a month). These e-newsletters offer our readers advisory service on books, authors and what’s happening at the library. By clicking on the Newsletter Sign up link, you can choose to receive a variety of e-mail newsletters. Preview some of the newsletters by clicking on the book cover images on the left of this page. All of these features are linked to the library catalog, so reserving the book is a snap.

The Library offers seven computers (plus a reference computer) for internet/e-mail use to the patrons in twenty-minute increments for up to 2 hours of use per day. Patrons may print black and white copies for $0.15. Free WiFi is also available, just ask for the password at the front desk.
Outreach to Our Communities
As an extended service to some of our senior patrons residing at the Windsor of Savoy, Autumn Fields, and Villas of Holly Brook, we make visits on the second Thursday of each month. This allows patrons the opportunity to request, return and check out books at the comfort of their residence.
